About Akin
I build the things Africa's innovators need to succeed.
For nearly 15 years I’ve worked at the centre of Africa’s innovation economy. I’ve designed and run accelerators, advised governments and development partners, judged national innovation competitions, and built institutions that train and back the next generation of founders and leaders.
Along the way I founded Global Analyst Academy, ScaleBurg and Nerilus International, and co-founded Dataminal. Each one fills a gap I kept seeing in the ecosystem.
I’m also a pastor and Bible teacher. Faith is the reason I care about this work, and it keeps me honest about who it’s for.
